I am interested in electromagnetic wave theory, opto-electronics and numerical analysis. The followings are recent topics in my laboratory.

• We develope the simulation tools for the lightwave propagation in the optical waveguides.
  1. Light pulse propagation in (non)linear waveguides by the Finite-Difference Time-Domain method

  2. Lightwave propagation in 2D or 3D optical waveguide by the Multigrid method.

• We investigate the scattering of Gaussian beams.
  1. Scattering of Gaussian beams by dielectric cylinders.

  2. Scattering of Gaussian beams by a chiral sphere or a chiral cylinder.

• We examine the tools to find the material parameters.
  1. Estimation of the nonlinear refractive index of photorefractive medium by Genetic Algorithm.
