研究概要

画像処理・認識・理解に関する技術をベースに、様々な分野の問題を解決することを目指しています。代表的な具体例を挙げれば、農工連携分野では、「ICTを活用した牛のモニタリングシステムの開発」など、医工連携分野では、「新生児黄疸の検知」、「パーキンソン病の重症度測定」などに関する研究に取組んでいます。 また、「高齢者の自立生活を支援する見守りシステム構築」のための、人の姿勢や行動分析、転倒検知、服薬管理などの開発を行っています。

We aim to solve problems in various fields based on technologies related to image processing, recognition, and understanding. To give a typical example, in the field of agricultural-industrial collaboration, "development of a cattle monitoring system using ICT", in the field of medical-engineering collaboration, "detection of neonatal jaundice", "measurement of severity of Parkinson's disease", etc. And also developing human posture and behavior analysis, fall detection, medication management, etc. for "construction of a watching system that supports the independent living of the elderly".
