Framework

The aim of this education program is to cultivate GAP trainers. The image is as follows: first they understand GAP well; second, they understand the whole of agriculture well; third, they can introduce GAP to farms; last, they have international characteristics. To obtain these objectives, this program must have two features. First, students can learn entirety of food safety, environmental conservation, workers safety, and farm administration; and second, students can learn GAP hands on. For these reasons, we developed this program in the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. This department has very good conditions for GAP education because it is composed of many subjects across a wide field.
